Inspired by the work of Escher and marquetry, with Maurits we want to prove that a table doesn’t have to be antique to be an impressive testimony of craftsmanship. The solid oak table top, inlaid with 222 rhombi , and the iron legs, composing a delicate inverse coronation, together form a unique contemporary piece that gives our artisans the opportunity to put their mentors’ legacy to use.
