Living walls

The Modulogreen® living wall concept was designed by the international Modulogreen team and required several years of testing by horticultural experts. It is one of the oldest living wall systems on the European market, and it has now been successfully used in many countries for many years.

The Modulogreen concept puts plants at the core of the system. This system creates an optimum root environment, which ensures plant viability while guaranteeing the most pleasant long-term aesthetic results. The living wall can be attached to any surface, thanks to its light and secure structure made of stainless steel, aluminum or composite materials. Modules are made of polypropylene, which resists temperatures varying from -40°C to + 120°C. The system is watertight, and is mounted on the wall with a system of rails and composite studs. This creates a space between the façade and the living wall, which means that no exchange between the two is possible. The gap allows constant air circulation to ventilate the system and also prevents any risk of condensation. Consequently, the ModuloGreen vertical garden appreciably improves the thermal and phonic insulation of buildings and brings biodiversity and clean air to our cities. Modulogreen 2.0 is the next generation Living Wall cradle to cradle certified. We have further developed the system and now it is fully suitable for circular building. Appealing reference are the Town Hall Venlo and the headquartered ASR Utrecht Mostert De Winter is the Modulogreen specialist for the Netherlands and Belgium.
