Puzzle by Mutina is a mosaic tile collection by renowned designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby in collaboration with Mutina, an Italian manufacturer of high-quality ceramic tiles. Puzzle represents a harmonious fusion of innovative design, meticulous craftsmanship, and superior quality materials, offering architects, designers, and homeowners a versatile and expressive solution for creating captivating interior spaces.

Puzzle stands for the infinity of possible combinations and a total freedom in its disposition: a real unique piece that changes with its elements through horizontal or vertical positioning, through floors or walls, and geometric or abstract shapes. It can be used to create a gradation of colors that starts out as a block color on the floor and blends into graphic patterns up the wall using the skirting board to change into a façade, or even as a floor with edge elements organized into geometric forms that gradually disperse.

Reference projects

Residence C.L

An apartment of clean lines and solid colors merges at the kitchen, which is defined by the complex floors and facades clad in the Puzzle mosaic. Here the activity of the home comes together and opens up to the other various programs.

Apartment FA in Frascati

For this apartment located in the historic heart of the city of Frascati, in an eighteenth-century building, the most important design challenge was trying to bring together valuable elements already present in the apartment with contemporary design elements. Designers 07am decided to unify everything from natural light and chose a soft color palette. Although the style chosen winks at the Scandinavian style, it mixes pieces from Northern Europe with pieces of Italian design.

Casa dritta curva

This renovation project of the house by the architect Filippo Bombace for a couple with children was completed in a valuable Roman building dating from the 1970s. The simple geometric sequence of the straight line, the semicircle and the quarter circle, becomes the project layout, coherently defining the design of the internal partitions and all the furnishings that complete the home.
