North Limited is a design collective formed by three Icelandic designers and is based in the heart of Reykjavik.

bybibi: bybibi offers utilitarian ceramic design with a twist. bybibi’s products are created to facilitate playful interactions between the user and the object. The bybibi product line is a versatile and adaptable multipurpose set of tableware that can follow you from room to room. The sets can be mixed and matched to create the tableware you desire. The clean lines of the bybibi tableware demonstrate a deep level of research and development that underpin the organic nature of bybibi’s design aesthetic.
FAERID: Thorunn is one of the founders and the main designer at FÆRID. She graduated from Central St. Martins College in London the year 2008 with a B.a. in Product Design. Stylish and minimalistic, FÆRID offers multi-functional furniture and accessories for the modern home. Inspired by Icelandic nature and environment, FÆRID’s design focuses on the user and the experience that the user creates when interacting with the objects. Ergonomic usability is the cornerstone of the brand’s philosophy. Products are developed from both social and environmental influences from the North while utilising a modern, practical approach.
Gudrun: Guðrún Vald. focuses on clean lines with strong aesthetic features. The pieces are designed to be timeless – outlasting trends – while also incorporating usability and individuality. Guðrún Vald.’s furniture line Hylur consists of fresh, modern pieces with a nod to classic Nordic design. The pieces are simple and elegant with wood playing the integral part of the design aesthetic. Guðrún Valdimarsdóttir graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2009 with a B.a. degree in Product Design. Her aim is to create simple, quality products that can last for years, both physically and aesthetically. She strives to find environmentally friendly material and production in Iceland.
