This oak plank has a 3-layer construction with a small bevel on the long side. It features an approximately 4 mm top layer, an approximately 4 mm backing in the same wood, and a middle layer made of conifer. The tongue and groove on all sides make it easy to install. The planks are free from knots and sapwood, but they may have some curled spots. Small knots, as well as slight stress cracks, are also possible.

Choose from a brushed finish with natural oil in wide or thin planks for a hard-wearing floor.
OAK Clear Hexagon
These pre-cut short planks come in three packages (A, B, and C) for easy hexagon installation. Natural oil and brushed finish are included. (Fixed dimensions only)
OAK Clear Herringbone
Select from two herringbone angles (90° and 77°) with pre-cut short boards for easy installation. The boards have 50% tongue on both sides and come with a natural oil and brushed finish.
OAK Clear Chevron
Choose from two chevron angles (45° and 60°) with pre-cut short boards for easy installation. The boards have 50% tongue on both sides and come with a natural oil and brushed finish.
Surface Options
Mafi uses natural oils for all surface finishes. These oils are made from renewable resources, 100% biodegradable, harmless, and generally hypoallergenic, providing a pleasant texture and natural wood look.
Oil Application
Each floor is oiled twice for optimal visual appeal and quality. There are two surface options: Production Surface, which is pre-oiled at the factory; and Installed Surface, which is re-oiled after installation.

Underfloor Heating
Most mafi floors are compatible with underfloor heating systems (exceptions: Larch Country, Larch Country Vulcano, and Vulcano Rosso). Refer to the installation instructions for specifics. Maximum floor surface temperature should be 29°C with a room temperature of 21°C.
Moisture Content
Mafi wood floors have a guaranteed moisture content between 6-8% (except Vulcano floors: 2-5%) upon delivery, achieved through calibrated analyzers.
Tongue and Groove
Most floors have a tongue and groove system on all sides (approximately 4mm) for easy installation. Domino collection floors are glued and delivered without tongue and groove.
Installation
Mafi floors can be installed as floating, with floor joists, or glued.
