Plains & Pods™ are two complementary systems of modular seating, surfaces and planters created with London-based design studio, Industrial Facility. As sibling product lines, they are designed to work both together and independently, and are unified in the way they use non-prescriptive design to inspire designers' creativity and enhance users' autonomy.

Plains are large-format, architectural beams and platforms that vary in height and width to create customizable settings of layered seating and surfaces. Plains modules are offered in four widths each with short and tall heights, are constructed from either wood or powdercoated metal, and can be embedded or surface-mounted. Pods are modular forms for seating and planting designed to be grouped together in tiered clusters. Pods seating modules are capped with wood seats and are available four footprints. Pods planters available in the four same footprints, each with an additional taller height. All Pods modules are constructed with a bent and powdercoated metal base and include leveling glides.
