The Sideboard PLISSEE is inspired by folded fabrics (Plissee) common to the world of fashion design. The plissees shape the doors of the sideboard and are guided through a brasen rod, inside the oak wood construction. The folds and the color gradient of the fabric play with light, form and space to accentuate the motion sequence of the opening and closing of the sideboard. PLISSEE can be accessed from both sides and thus may also be used as a room divider.
