Plötur 75 is a rigid stone wool insulation board manufactured by Steinull in Iceland. Designed for use in walls, roofs, and general building applications, it combines thermal and acoustic performance with long-term durability. The boards are non-combustible, achieving Class A1 fire resistance, and maintain performance throughout a building’s lifetime without loss of insulating properties.
As a mineral-based material, Plötur 75 is naturally water-repellent, vapour-permeable, and resistant to mould and decay. Its sustainability benefits include FSC-certified renewable electricity used in Icelandic production, an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) verifying its environmental profile, and recyclability at end of life.
