Múrplata is a rigid stone wool render board produced by Steinull hf. in Iceland. Designed as a substrate for plaster and render systems, it combines thermal and acoustic insulation with surface stability, making it well-suited for exterior facades.

The boards are non-combustible (Class A1) and maintain performance for more than 60 years. Naturally water-repellent yet vapour-permeable, they help regulate moisture and prevent mould growth.

Sustainability benefits include an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD NEPD-1858-803-EN), production powered by Iceland’s 100 percent renewable energy, and recyclability at end of life.

With no added VOCs and a high recovery rate for manufacturing waste, Múrplata supports low-maintenance, fire-safe, and circular building design.
