Laminated glass which forms a PDLC (Liquid crystal) panel enabling change of the visual appearance from opaque to transparent glass and vice versa at the touch of a button. This change is achieved for a small electric current affecting the arrangement of polymers. Therefore the intelligent LedGlass glazing is high technology laminated glass with a PDLC interlayer between 2 pieces of glass. When the glass is in its transparent mode due to the electric current going through the PDLC layer inserted between the 2 pieces of glass, you can see through the glass. Another of the properties achieved with PolarisGlass glazing is the great contrast it offers, which is why PolarisGlass can be turned into a large format screen for retroprojection of audiovisual content with image quality of 4k. PolarisGlass can be manufactured in a wide variety of finishes or compositions from conventional float glazing to coloured, curved or shaped glazing, etc. Everything to provide added value to the solutions proposed by our customers. PolarisGlass glass always has at least one of the existing safety treatments since during the manufacturing process 2 glass panes are laminated to introduce the PDLC lamina inside them. Prior to this lamination process we can also temper 2 glass panes to achieve a tempered + laminated safety glass. Our PolarisGlass can also be introduced into a camera glass composition.
