Qompact is a concept dedicated to different markets such as Metal Curtains, Roller Shutters or Garage Doors; it offers an extra reduced housing and a high resistance thanks to an innovative conception of the slats and a new way to retain them in the rails:
The curtain is made of extruded aluminum slats with variable sizes that minimize its winding in the housing. After each winding turn, the slats get bigger to absorb the extra thickness created by the previous slats: this reduces the housing by almost 50% compared to a conventional shutter (a 4m curtain fits in a 20cm housing)
Each slat is equipped with end retention screws that make the Qompact shutter system rolling smoothly and quietly. And permit and huge wind and break-in resistance: Qompact is A2P certified and has reached the maximum wind resistance classes that can be obtained in France (Class 4 in open bay and Class 6 in front of a window)
The performances of Qompact enable realizing big size products: 5m60 width and 4m00 height.
The curtain, rails, and housing are fully aluminum, which gives the product a good resistance to oxidation and salt air. In addition, the product is completely recyclable.
