Technishield 70 is a steel framed, fire resistant glazed door and side panel system designed to combine fire protection with transparent internal separation. Available as a single hinged and latched door or with an adjoining glazed side panel, the system provides up to 90 minutes integrity and 90 minutes insulation. The door and surrounding framing use 70 × 70 mm steel sections, with glass panels joined using fire rated silicone joints or vertical mullions where a fully framed appearance is required.
Technishield systems are supported by Optima’s circular economy initiatives, including its Take Back service, which enables installed components to be recovered for reuse, repurposing, or recycling. Independently verified Environmental Product Declarations are available for Technishield 70 glazed doors and partitions, providing life cycle environmental data across production, construction, end of life, and potential benefits beyond the system boundary.
