By integrating a unique heater battery in the access floor panel, the thermal access floor combines a heating and cooling function with the proven features of the Lenzlinger access floor. This allows office space, training rooms, command centres, etc. to be fitted with a floor heating system.
Thermal access floors are made of either a highly compressed particle board or a fibre-reinforced calcium sulphate panel. To transmit heat and cold, a heater/cooler register is inserted directly into the floor panel. The square synthetic profile of the battery provides a large active area for the transfer of thermal energy. Up to 30 panels can be connected in series per heating circuit.
