Treatment Classes
There are two classes: Thermo-S (Softwood) and Thermo-D (Hardwood), categorized based on their properties and treatment temperatures. Thermo-S focuses on stability, with a tangential swelling and shrinkage of 6-8%, suitable for applications like building components, furniture, and fixtures. Thermo-D emphasizes durability, with a 5-6% swelling and shrinkage, ideal for applications requiring enhanced decay resistance.
