Villaboard™ Lining is a robust fibre cement wall sheet specifically engineered for use in wet and high-traffic areas of the home, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries. It’s the ideal substrate for tiles, paint, or wallpaper, offering durability and moisture resistance far beyond standard plasterboard.

Moisture Resistant and Built to Last:
Unlike traditional plasterboard, Villaboard™ is naturally resistant to moisture, rot, and degradation. It maintains its strength and integrity even in consistently damp environments, helping to prevent costly water damage and reducing long-term maintenance.

Superior Tile Holding Capacity:
Thanks to its high tensile bond strength—up to 75% greater than conventional wet area plasterboard—Villaboard™ can reliably support tiles weighing between 30 and 60 kg/m², depending on sheet and tile thickness. This ensures that heavy tiles in bathrooms and kitchens remain securely fixed over time.

Versatile Finishing Options:
Whether you're using tiles, paint, wallpaper, or a combination of these, Villaboard™ offers a stable and durable surface finish. It’s also perfect for other internal spaces like garages, hallways, or utility rooms where impact resistance and acoustic performance matter.

Product Features:

  • Highly resistant to moisture, fire, termites, and decay

  • Compatible with Secura™ Flooring for a complete wet area solution

  • Quick installation: gun-nail to timber or screw to light steel frames

  • Recessed edges for seamless flush-jointing

  • Clean, dust-minimising cutting using the Villaboard™ Score and Snap Knife

  • Certified for structural bracing in line with NZS 3604 (up to extra high wind zones)

  • Backed by a 25-year product warranty

Best For:
Homeowners, builders, and renovators seeking a reliable, long-lasting wall lining solution for wet and demanding environments.
