Moving in a three-dimensional space: Putting on a pair of virtual reality glasses you immerse yourself in a virtual world which you can experience with almost all your senses. Where you look is determined by where you move your head naturally.
Virtual reality allows totally new ways of transferring information: an authentic sense of space, mesmerizing experiences, and interaction. The technology of virtual reality is advancing rapidly. We are exploring its potential in our virtual reality research project Solid Rock, which we keep developing.
Solid Rock combines virtual reality (VR) with interaction. The system has ingenious features enabling users to modify the sun position, to replace materials or to shift objects. Solid Rock has been presented at a couple of fairs and exhibitions – always fascinating both experts from architecture and design and a non-professional public.
