Volcano

The powerful features of the volcano brought me to design a furniture that allows various forms of sitting and lying. Volcanic eruption is a process in which the magmabreak through cracks in the earth crust and reach the surface - a mesmerizing natural phenomenon , intriguing and spectacular . The hot eruptive lava gets cold when contacting the air, than hardens and changes color and texture in the process. The volcano is a furniture that was built from round wooden surface with holes which soft tubes pass through it to create the sitting surface. The tubes fit themselves to you during the sitting and you can change them in several ways for your convenience. In fact , I've created piece of furniture that can be positioned in various poses in order to sit or lie , alone , in a couple or for a group of friends nestling in it.
