After its introduction in 2006, WHITE LINE has found an established position on the market. Thanks to several participations to architect@work -where our new products were presented—we have been able to continually broaden our dealernetwork. True to our innovative spirit, we continue to develop new ideas for WHITE LINE. WHITE LINE is a range of surface-mounted luminaires with seamless ceiling integration. Therefore, we advise to install each luminaire before painting. That way, the painter will be able to integrate each appliance into the ceiling with sealant, allowing the whole to look like a semi-built in luminaire. Each WHITE LINE appliance comes with an enclosed cover that is separate from the exterior frame and is therefore suited for repainting.
NEW : WHITE LINE ‘SLOT’
Within the WHITE LINE range, ‘SLOT’ is a completely new concept. Apart from the standardsizes (150cm , 200 cm and 300cm) we can offer custom-made SLOT luminaires. SLOT uses a new type of 10mm reflector. It comes with a high-end LED chip in CRI 85 to 95 and offers a choice between 2700°, 3000° and 4000° kelvin for colour temperature. Both the 10mm lightslot and the LED prints come in white.
The housing is extruded with a 10mm recess and a depth of 10mm in which the minireflectors are fixed. This garantees a very high light efficiency without view on the LED reflector. However, SLOT’s unique asset is its housing which provides an immediate efficient cooling of the LED module. Also, SLOT can be delivered as pendulum luminaire as it is possible to provide the ceiling-facing side of the appliance with a linear LED set-up. This turns SLOT into a real up/down pendulum luminaire. As such, SLOT offers many possibilities. Let’s not forget that it is –within this type of device—the thinnest (40mm) surface-mounted luminaire available that works on normal system voltage, that is universally dimmable ànd that has all components integrated into the device itself. Careful, the SLOT concept has been filed for patent and copyright (as is the case for our other devices). Finally, thank you very much for allowing me to share this news and ‘drive’ with you.
