Radiators

At ISH 2011, renowned radiator manufacturer Zehnder will be showing once again just why it acquired its reputation as a design leader. The indoor climate experts will be presenting the Zehnder Quaro, a bathroom radiator that makes consistent use of the key design element of the Bauhaus movement: the right angle. The striking rectangular concept is continued through to the smallest detail, making the Zehnder Quaro a timeless design object for the bathroom.

In the new Zehnder Quaro bathroom radiator, every design element is based on right angles. Both the elegant frame and the horizontal heating pipes it surrounds are rectangular in profile. The angular Bauhaus style is even continued in details such as the right-angled wall brackets. The overall impression is one of clarity and simplicity with a clean, harmonious use of forms.

The puristic design of the Zehnder Quaro is enhanced by the generous, even spacing between the pipes, ideal for placing towels or other textiles over the heated elements. The enlarged surface area of the pipes also increases the proportion of radiant heat for an even cosier bathroom. The Zehnder Quaro comes in six different sizes: 971 mm, 1403 mm and 1835 mm in height and 300 mm, 450 mm and 600 mm in width. This flexibility allows the customer to choose the dimensions that best suit their bathroom. The 300 mm version, in particular, is the ideal solution for smaller bathrooms where space is at a premium.

In addition to the classic wall-mounted model, the Zehnder Quaro is also available as a room divider. All models come with a 50 mm centre connection as standard. Customers can choose between the classic hot water system model and an electric-only version. The new designer bathroom radiator also loves colour: the Zehnder Quaro comes in many brilliant colours and finishes, either gloss or matt, in elegant chrome or brushed stainless steel.

Taking its inspiration from the puristic Bauhaus tradition, the Zehnder Quaro is a designer object that enables homeowners, architects and planners to create a contemporary yet timeless ambience down to the finest detail. This is honest, blunt design bursting with character!
