025S Bukchon Store is the second domestic showroom of the total scent brand Point Two Five Second, conceived as a spatial journey that extends the brand’s long-standing narrative of “my time and memories” toward a deeper exploration of the self. The space is designed around the key theme of immersion, unfolding through a sequence of transitions that gradually shift and deepen the visitor’s sensory focus with each step.
The journey is composed of three distinct stages.
The first stage, “Shift of Senses,” guides visitors from a visually oriented perception to an olfactory-centered experience. Upon entering the showroom, they are greeted by a shimmering, silver wave—a moment that feels as though one is stepping out of ordinary time and into an evocative new realm of sensation. This enigmatic scene marks the initial encounter between the brand and the visitor, imprinting the identity of Point Two Five Second with memorable intensity. A three-tiered display, designed to appear as if it floats without visible support, and the softly curving walls surrounding it create a gentle, enveloping environment that encourages quiet, focused exploration of scent.
The second stage, “Process of Immersion,” invites visitors to turn inward and reflect more deeply. As the passageway narrows, darkens, and subtly bends, it heightens anticipation for what lies ahead. Music—composed exclusively for this showroom—resonates through speakers embedded in the walls, sharpening the senses and drawing the visitor into an even deeper state of concentration.
The final stage, “Time for Contemplation,” serves as the climax of the space, evoking the sensation of entering a private, almost celestial chamber. Here, visitors are encouraged to focus entirely on themselves, experiencing a profound moment shaped by the interplay of scent and space. The silver foil first encountered in the opening section reappears—now transformed with lighting to resemble the textured surface of the moon—offering not only a heightened olfactory encounter but also a rare and striking visual impression found nowhere else.
