This lobby, previously dark and traditional, was updated to a bright and contemporary look by design firm Studio 1200. The building’s owner wanted to modernize the lobby to appeal to new tenants after a long-term occupant vacated the building, hosting offices suitable for companies. Besides replacing the lighting, with the installation of Plumage pendant lamp, seating groups were added to provide social spaces as well as pops of color, and a security desk was removed, increasing the flow throughout the space.
