134 Battersea high Street is the rework of the consented scheme initially designed by Francis Philips architects in 2014. The same quality brick design and balance in a rather more intimate and efficient composition. Set on a picturesque high street of south London, next to famed Candlemaker pub, 134 Battersea High Street now offers nice quality homes instead of the initial eight. Textured with high brick and copper cladding, the elevations exude a soft warm light that blend the building in this sough-after London neighbourhood. Consent was granted on the 20th February 2020 and resi developer Westbrook Whitfield is gearing up to start construction shortly.
Client says: 'We have just started working with HWO on our new Battersea project, they have done an outstanding job from start to finish. They have been seamless with their care and dealt with any obstacle with diligence and professionalism. It is refreshing to work alongside an architect who understands the developers mind and can work within our budget to deliver a beautiful outcome – just as I had envisioned.'
