The building is located on the former industrial site of the Saint Ouen Docks close to Paris. Like many early 20th century concrete industrial buildings, its shape is striking, strange in some respects, with some coloured and non-coloured add-ons (walkways, metal ladders). It is made up of two stepped towers. It is assertively vertical on the side facing the park, whereas to the north a series of steps allow light to flood into the centre of the block and create large outdoor areas. This means that the flats have either a fine view of the park or else a large south-facing terrace. A collective kitchen garden will take place on a roof and will be accessible by the inhabitants to come and grow vegetables and plants.
