The beachside project consists of alterations and additions to an existing steel framed 1980s weatherboard house. The floor plan comprises of a cluster of hexagons which creates a form surprisingly sympathetic to it’s coastal bush surrounds. The associated bee hive-like roof forms frame the spacious and light filled interiors.
Materials are restrained, but playful in parts, in reference to some of the original 80s flourishes.
