The project is an addition to an existing house : a new volume was added as a concrete stone, cladded with glass. Since the plot turns in a sharp corner after the main building, this angle was the starting point for the design.

Referencing tot he Brussels Airport just in the back oft he house, the ceiling was conceived as crossing lines like the clouds airplanes leave behind in the sky, thus forming a non-rectangular grid.

The ceiloing becomes a vaulted roof, with the sharp corners : the addition i becomes a twisted space.
