This is a small studio in the old center of Koper. The concept was to create a box inside a box. All the main functions are situated in the new black box, placed in the apartment and divided into two levels: the kitchen and the bathroom are situated on the first level, the bedroom is placed on the second level.
The old apartment - white box - is preserved in its original form; the high ceiling, the stone walls, the windows and the balcony door, …
The contrast in form and color gives both boxes a unique expressing language and creates a one of a kind living experience.
