DAVL Studio designed this barn house on the edge of the village of Heeg, directly on its own waterway and in open connection with the Heegermeer lake in the heart of Friesland's water sports center.

The architecture of the live-work building is embedded in the landscape. The volume is designed as a split-level with a height difference in the longitudinal direction. The corner features extensive use of glass and large windows, connecting the interior and exterior.
