Naming the restaurant Atoma, the Greek word for invisible, the owners wanted to ‘celebrate the invisible aspects of dining – the things we often forget about when enjoying a beautiful meal’. Guided by the name, walnut wood was used exclusively for the project to complement the evergreen paint colors and match its vibrancy.
The modest sized 1,500 square foot plan utilizes the front half of the space for dining where four rooms were nicely divided by the home’s original structural walls to become intimate and separated spaces for guests and to enhance the vibe that you are in the home dining room of the chef.
