The starting point for the design of this penthouse was the complete redistribution of the interior spaces. The original layout featured two separate rooms for the living area and kitchen, alongside a sleeping area with four bedrooms. However, this arrangement did not meet the needs of a dynamic family that loves entertaining and requires proper spaces for work and study.

The first step was to redesign the living area, creating an open-space layout where the different zones are separated by transparent elements. The entrance is defined by a smoked glass partition that divides it from the living room, while a full-height bookcase acts as a filter between the dining area and the lounge. The kitchen, transforming from a merely functional space, becomes the precious centerpiece of the living area: full-height columns in grey oak conceal the washing area and appliances, while the Ceppo di Gré stone island stands out as a monolithic element.

The sleeping area has been reimagined as a multifunctional space, dedicated not only to rest but also organized to host wardrobes, a laundry room, and a large area for study and a home office. Special attention was paid to the master bedroom, which features an en-suite bathroom and a generous walk-in closet.

The greige resin flooring throughout the entire home, the grain of the anthracite oak, and the earthy tones of the Ceppo di Gré weave a visual narrative that embraces every environment, from the living area to the most private spaces. These finishes carry a strong aesthetic impact, yet their firmness is softened by elements ranging from natural leather to terracotta, as well as wallpapers with textures that evoke soft, warm fabrics. The result is a penthouse with a bold and sophisticated character.
