The apartment for a young family, of approximately 150 m2, is located inside a typical 1970s condominium in Legnano (MI) and is spread over two levels with a large terrace with a privileged view of the city.
The demolition of all the internal partitions allowed the redefinition of all the spaces and the redesign of the furnishings, made to measure according to a principle of chromatic coherence that characterizes the entire house.

The white and gray of the furnishings, designed by Hop!Arch, thus find reference in the gray wall of the fireplace, in the iron stairs and in the seating in the living area.
The living area is filled with light and views from the numerous windows. The kitchen, which enjoys a view of the city skyline, is a single-material island, with an integrated sink and is highlighted by the chromatic contrast with the white columns behind it, which act as a backdrop.

In addition to the chromatic references, various material references coexist, such as the iron of the staircase, the feet of the table and the wood holder, made to measure with 6mm sheet metal, and the glass, used for the doors of some furnishings, for the sliding doors of the walk-in closet and for the stair railing.
The design of the stairwell made it possible to establish a strong dialogue with the external environment through the large window openings, which frame the landscape like works of art.

The two-tone white and gray is partially interrupted in the sleeping area and in the bathrooms, where the blue tones bring a bit of the sea even where there is none.
The blue of the secondary bathroom contrasts with the white ceramic boiserie, decorated with floral patterns.

The same ceramic surface was used on the wall of the main bathroom, combined with the wallpaper that delimits the shower space. The naturalistic theme is also present in the latter, with delicate drawings of gray tree-lined landscapes on a white background.

The blue on the bedroom wall is flooded by the beam of light from the luminous throat, which is reflected on the glass door of the walk-in closet, creating an optical effect of expanding the space.
The lighting embellishes the spaces of the entire house and is designed in harmony with the furniture and plasterboards, amplifying the perception and value of the spaces.

The smoked oak parquet covers the entire house, giving continuity and fluidity to a house in which everything is designed with a view to coherence and architectural integration of the parts.
