Originally designed as a private residence, Azoria was conceived around the idea of creating a home that balances comfort, longevity and understated elegance. Following the owners’ relocation to the United States, the apartment transitioned into a rental property, demonstrating how thoughtful residential design can retain both its emotional value and long-term investment appeal.
Located in Cluj-Napoca and spanning 100 square meters, the apartment is defined by a warm contemporary aesthetic, where soft architectural gestures and carefully curated materials create a calm and immersive living experience. Rather than relying on visual excess, the design focuses on proportion, texture and atmosphere, resulting in spaces that feel refined, welcoming and timeless.
A neutral palette of natural oak, mineral textures, warm stone tones and subtle metallic accents establishes continuity throughout the interior. Curved forms become a recurring design language, appearing in custom joinery, architectural transitions, niches and decorative details. These elements soften the geometry of the apartment and contribute to a sense of visual fluidity and harmony.
The living area was conceived as a cohesive social space where kitchen, dining and lounge functions blend naturally while maintaining a balanced and elegant composition. Custom-designed furniture and integrated storage solutions maximize functionality without compromising aesthetics.
In the private areas, layered textiles, decorative finishes and ambient lighting create a serene and restorative atmosphere. The bathroom continues the same sculptural language through softly illuminated niches and carefully selected materials, transforming everyday routines into a more sensory experience.
Azoria reflects Monogram Living’s approach to contemporary residential design: creating interiors defined not by trends, but by atmosphere, materiality and enduring quality.
