Bagh by Seasons Vadodara

Parnavi Mendon as Architects

Nestled in the urban jungle of South Delhi, BAGH (by Seasons Vadodara) where landscape converges with the tapestry of tradition, lies a 900 sq. ft. store that celebrates the timeless beauty of ethnic attire. The store is set in a soothing material palette, consisting of earthy tones of yellows, beiges and hints of teal green on the windows with bursts of red fabric for the cash counter.

The brief provided by the client was to maximize  display space and yet not make the space cramped, and to also accommodate enough of their collection in a categorical manner to provide an easy usage to its end users and make the most of every inch of the space.

The store is set in a soothing material palette, comprising of colour of earth, which are yellows, beiges and hints of teal green and red. The inside walls wear subdued tones of linen, with a flooring of mirror yellow kota which comes in variation.

Off-White toned furniture in combination with wooden furniture stands out against the light coloured walls. These colors not only evoke warmth but also act as a perfect canvas for all the prints and colors of the textiles.

The flooring is an enchanting composition of mirror and river polish yellow kota. This stone exudes a radiant golden sheen that bathes the space in a warm and inviting glow. Upon entering the space, a careful composition of river finish kota has been laid out, with a deliberate variation in sizes, forming an entry way for the store. As you explore further into the store, river finish yellow Kota stone inlays appear at various  junctions, breaking the monotony of the mirror polish and creating visual interest.

The trial rooms and other service oriented spaces have been set up at the utmost end of the store to maintain a certain amount of privacy for the users and the staff as well.

The cash counter has been strategically placed on one side of the store centrally, in a way that they can get full vision of the store.
