Holiday house Bergraum

The Architects started with the traditional form of a barn to integrate the “bergraum” in the environment. The space is like an open-air terrace in the middle of the landscape, with the roof and windows letting in light and air on all sides. The gigantic panoramic window with integrated seating is a wonderful place to sit. The materials concrete, wood, glass, felt reflect the mighty grey mountains. The centre of the “bergraum” is the living, dining and cooking area that opens all the way up to the roof.
