The original house from about 1950 was partially torn down to make way for a new, contemporary home. For some reason, the owner left the rear section of the house intact and constructed an all-new front section. (see pictures). I was brought in sometime later by a contractor friend of mine who was hired to finish the house. I designed a 2-story addition that doubled the square feet of the house. It includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, as well as an outdoor terrace space. The new owners suite ,in particular, has an amazing bathroom. I designed the shower to have an incredible amount of natural light while still being as private as possible.
