Tasked with developing ingenious office space, My Pick One approached the challenge with unbound creativity, inspiration, and applied expertise. The aim was to craft an uplifting space that increased the workers’ productivity.
Crafting Productive and Positive Vibes with an Intricate Interior
The interior design needed to shift away from traditionally bland office architecture that would have a negative effect on productivity and satisfaction. Binary Office Inc. aims to assist well-known agencies and businesses in reducing costs on mundane, repetitive, and outdated tasks.
Their fresh take on office processes meant that their office needed to reflect a similar vision. The My Pick One design team placed ergonomic furniture and paneling in a trendy and neominimalist fashion. The pathways and offices boast a distinct art-deco style that gives you a break from a once –drab interior. Despite being mostly inspired by digitization, it still features various raw and natural elements. It represents how new and innovative ideas stem from the company’s vision.
Adding Ergonomic Furniture That Enhances Productivity
The whole point of designing the office’s interior was to create a space where workers feel more creative and driven. To tap into these emotions, the My Pick One team created a futuristic atmosphere, but at the same time, it remains raw and unfinished. As a result, the space comes together to look like a canvas, unfinished, and waiting to trigger a domino-effect of new ideas in peoples’ minds. The design team carefully selected a range of furniture that was not just comfortable, but timeless with regard to style and easy to maintain as well. This was meant to help employees be more productive during the workday without suffering from sedentary lifestyle-induced aches.
Implementing a Calming and Stress-relieving Color Scheme
The executives wanted a palette that uplifted the employees calmed them, and helped with reducing stress. This explains why the overall palette includes shades of orange for an uplifting effect, while the neutrals help in toning down over-the-top emotions, which accounts for stress-relief.
Subtle Ways of Incorporating Sustainability
During the design process, the My Pick One team focused on integrating vast amounts of natural light into the space, making the most out of what it could offer. The fixtures, faucets, and luminaires are all energy-efficient, showing how the project is a healthy example of adding sustainability without compromising on style.
Bringing Nature and Tearing Down Opaque Barriers
Usually, offices have a single plant in the waiting area, but the team changed this entirely by positioning indoor plants throughout the office space. Green acts as a calming shade, and with all of its tech-inspired glory, the office could use some natural design elements. Unlike the old-fashioned cubicles that overpopulated traditional offices, My Pick One opted for walls that were less opaque, so they didn’t act as barriers. These were essentially thick transparent, or in the case of executives, translucent, glass. Not only does it maintain privacy where needed, but it also gives the space a surreal aesthetic.
