A suspended space, a non-Neapolitan environment that make guests feel in a foreign city: this is the concept of Bisi 56, the new restaurant designed in Naples.
Upon entering, the bar counter is located on the left, while the room opens up on the right side of the room. The wine cellars give the back of this scene. Behind the counter, there is the bottle rack, made of lacquered metal. Continuing on the left we find the kitchen hidden by a pressed paper boiserie. Subsequently, a steel-clad wall covers the staircase leading to the basement. Here there is a more informal room, an environment reminiscent of a home salon than a restaurant.
The coldness of the steel cladding is balanced by a wooden boiserie in warm tones that evokes a retro taste, to create a welcoming and contemporary environment. The smooth surfaces of the metal and wood dialogue with the roughness of the paper boiserie and the hand-chiseled stone bar top.
All the joinery and iron furnishings were made to a design by the architects by local craftsmen.
