BridgeWater House

South Northants Homes, Mears and British Gas have worked in partnership to implement a range of innovative energy saving technologies at Bridgewater House – a sheltered housing block in Brackley. Ground source heating, photovoltaic, and solar thermal heating are being employed in all the communal areas as well as the new flats.


• Danfoss Ground Heat Pumps: Ground source heat pumps use pipes buried in the garden to absorb heat from the ground and use it for space heating. • Photovoltaic (PV) Technology: HeatingSolar thermal water heating system uses heat energy from the sun to generate hot water for heating applications. HeatingSolar thermal water heating system uses heat energy from the sun to generate hot water for heating applications. • Solar thermal hot water: HeatingSolar thermal water heating system uses heat energy from the sun to generate hot water for heating applications.
