WOODEN HUNT GAINS ACONCHEGO WITH A MACRO ARQUITETOS PROJECT IN ITU (SP)
The wooden cabin gained a modern, rustic and industrial look in the project developed by the Macro Arquitetos office, led by the architects Carlos Duarte and Juliana Nogueira. Based in São Paulo, the team found a new layout for the old prefabricated house located in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, in the mining of parts, renovation solutions and in the fast and easy-to-install carpentry shop.
The first step was to integrate the kitchen into the living room, knocking down the wall and replacing it with a steel reinforcement. Following the industrial line, the bookcase with a galvanized iron structure with water pipes and the cabinets also got blue wood that relaxes the environment.
For the island, also signed by the office, a spiral connecting bucket and truck cabin feeds the energy of the island with wheels, further increasing the dynamics of the environment.
The old ceramic floor was replaced by 12 cm thick machined concrete. In the dining room, the table with an iron structure and bean wood, as well as the colorful chairs, complement the industrial style with lightness. The large window in counterpoint with the kitchen door that faces the back of the house provides lighting and cross ventilation throughout the day.
The warmth of recovered natural woods and the white details are complemented by the landscaping, also signed by the office. The option for vases and pendants on the balcony, as well as large tropical foliage in the backyard and around the house will bring privacy and thermal comfort to the residence.
The room gained large windows, Carrara stone on the floor and a mined bed brings a rustic and calm tone to the environment. The yellow lighting provides warmth to the environment, countering the cold of the paint.
The bathrooms follow the rustic industrial mining line, with vats made of copper basin, copper plumbing in the water and gas pipes and galvanized iron for electricity. On the benches, demolition wood and steel.
