Cadsky is the name of an industrialist who built his private residence above Freudenstein Castle in the 1960s. The globetrotter did not choose a classic, local construction method, but was inspired by different styles. The existing building is one-storey and of an attractive size with a pitched roof. This was covered with slabs of slate.

The construction task consisted in the renovation and expansion of the existing building and the creation of new premises. An elongated structure was chosen, which replaces an originally existing extension in its position. The new building was placed in the landscape with great care. Derived from the stratification of the soil in the surrounding vineyards, "stamped concrete" was chosen as the material. A generous glass facade opens up the view on the valley side in the direction of Freudenstein Castle and the city of Bozen. The one-storey structure is connected to the main building below the eaves line and is also covered with stone. A forecourt was created on the mountain side, which was designed with autochthonous plants and a porphyry pavement from the area.

The Villa Cadsky merges inconspicuously with the landscape.
