Within the Campo Base collective project, developed for the Fuorisalone in Milan, the Eligo Studio architecture studio has explored the concept of the domestic environment by placing private conviviality as the supreme moment of intimacy. “Homage to Renzo Mongiardino” is the name of the project, an ephemeral architecture that plays on illusion. Eligostudio reinterprets the living room of Palazzo Odescalchi in Rome in a contemporary key, designed by Mongiardino in 1969.

Inside an octagonal tent, a large sculptural steel fireplace unequivocally defines the centrality of the environment. All the furnishing elements, from the fabrics, to the carpets, to the upholstered elements invite you to rest and relax, transforming the installation into a convivial place. On the walls, the Torvik lamp, with its long ribbed stem that recalls the torches of ancient Greece. The Veronese table lamps complete the lighting with elegant charm, characterized by extremely pure lines, capable of embodying classicism and modernity.
