The development plan for Cangzhou proposes an industrial zone that would enhance the port activities in Cangzhou and the thoroughfare of raw materials to the west of China.
The industrial zone is divided into five separate areas, each with its own specific industrial activities. Entrance foils have been designed to mark the status of the areas. The various foils are each recognisable features for the different industrial areas and together they are all similar to each other in terms of materials and size. A larger structure marks the main entrance to the whole site.
