This villa was designed to occupy a semi-rural 1200 m² site in Amstelveen close to a large wooded area. The architecture is traditional with some modern features.

The robust basic form with its pitched ‘saddleback’ roof has been refined using loggias and transects, resulting in a rich plasticity. The facade materials used include stone, slate, traditional plasterwork and wood.
