SPARK’s redesign of this 104,000 sqm CapitaMall included structural and architectural modifications to the atrium to improve spatial quality and circulation. Off-set floor plates and voids create unique connected volumes that offer unobstructed views across the atrium to the retail units. The design profile of the floor openings and circulation reflects SPARK’s unique ability to reinvent standard mall interior thinking to create interesting carved out spaces; bespoke ’calm pools‘ that are perfect locations for retail kiosks, dining or lounge areas which add value to the basic retail offer.
