Lot No. 9 is located in a predominantly residential area surrounded by beautiful green spaces in the ‘7 Bicas’ area in Matosinhos, Portugal. The allotment rules defined the volume of the T3 type single-family house, with predefined alignments in the front and side areas of the lot. However, it was possible to create a volumetric game, having a wooden box overlaid on a gray volume. This volumetric game made it possible to play with materials and textures that differed from each other and to reveal with nobility the indented floor and the main entrance of the house.
