Casa AMI is an apartment located on the noble floor of a building in the historic center of Trapani. It is designed for a young couple who do not want to give up family effects and develops on two main lines: the first runs along the street front overlooking the main street and generating what is the living area, consisting of three rooms in succession. The second, transversely, leads to the most intimate part of the apartment, intended for rest. The bedroom is designed as an independent suite, located in the most remote corner of the house, access to which is filtered by crossing the walk-in closet. A redesign of the flooring generates a system of carpets of old recovered cement tiles that interact with the parquet, adjusting the spaces and relating the new furnishings with the old immovable inhabitants of the house.
