The intervention consists in the renovation of an apartment overlooking the port of portofino.It consists of two levels not connected to each other: one on the ground floor in direct connection with the pier, used as a bedroom / warehouse and one on the first floor of the building, where the living space is developed with an open space system.

The biggest challenge of this project concerns the creation of a flexible and transformable space, able to adapt to different needs and functions, through the realization of concealed wooden panels.The entire project draws inspiration from the materials used in the boats, an element present in the port on which the building overlooks.
