CASA H

LIVING INSIDE THE LANDSCAPE A young couple with small children access to land in a condition of almost ideal landscape: field, horizon of mountains, distant views, soft undulating topography; thus arises the need to solve a housing with sporadic use, a weekend house; a house of rest and relax, in a gated community that bases its concept on the appropriation of a country atmosphere. The plots are arranged in the gently undulating geography generating large farms that prioritize the independence and autonomy of the occupants. Large distances separate existing homes.

A simple premise: the creation of a meeting space, public, indoor assume leadership regarding possible views to capture, distant or close. A space with features such able to summon and bring together potential inhabitants of housing in key moments of the day and year. A hierarchical priority “central” space in the composition of the architectural object was in the minds of users.

The answer is to capture that concept and filter every decision regarding this spatial hierarchy. It focuses on the assumption that central position, intermediate and according to guidelines, sunrise and sunset, wind and postcards of that landscape; generate and "shape it" as a core and inevitably result in the use and typological behavior. Levels, its height and its projections, expansions, etc. are studied in detail.

Open and closed spaces and gaps with less defined characteristics that achieve transitions and spaces between the parties, taking advantage of the status and power of the surrounding landscape are generated. An interior space between those parties and a longitudinal outer space through the typology is then captured, longitudinal shaping a "pseudo-patio" outside that articulates the entire proposal and expands beyond.

The house appears like a stone on the ground seems to come from its context, physically and typologically introducing the landscape in their spaces. The property and lives of the landscape, capturing and inserts; contemplates and watches.
