Casa MRGT is a multi-level loft inside a former industrial building. The vast available spaces are magnified with empty volumes, respecting the origins of the structure and enhancing the idea of “openness” that is essential to the open space concept.
The first floor, turned into a garage for the client’s car collection, is connected to the home via a staircase that changes, going up, from raw, industrial materials to more welcoming and domestic finishes.
On the second floor, the ample living room is a striking space free of partitions, featuring a sculptural volume dedicated to entertainment – which includes a home theater and a guestroom.
The third floor is entirely occupied by the large master bedroom, where bathroom elements have been exploded around the space, deleting the boundaries between private and non-private use.
Finally, a convivial roof terrace is ready to welcome guests under a pergola equipped with an outdoor kitchen, or lead them to the sauna and to the large steps of the pool, which dominates the view from the top of the building.
