This house was designed on a site in a neighborhood where there was already an old house. The family wanted a rustic-looking home where they could spend the weekend with their grandchildren and children in a relaxed atmosphere. The land was chosen because it was two blocks from the family home.
In this architectural project, we sought to sectorize the affective kitchen and the social area on the first floor, creating two apartments on the upper floor so that different activities could be enjoyed without one interfering with the other.
In the interior design, we looked for furniture with colors and textures that were reminiscent of nature and easy to maintain.
The house seeks to bring the countryside into the city, and was created as a refuge where city and nature come together.
