Serena House

Serena House was designed by Charlene Koetz Arquitetura as a 21st Century Serra House, at the request of its developer CK Arquitetura, whose objective was to sell the High Luxury House for use on vacation or for housing. The name of the House reflects the atmosphere of tranquility created for moments of well-being and relaxation. The starting point of this project was the integration of nature, preserving the araucaria trees on the land and making the most of the green surroundings and natural light.

In the living room, which runs along a free space of 11m, integrating two living rooms in the same environment, there is a cozy fireplace made of natural stone from the region. At the same time, this living room expands even further, when the huge glass doors that integrate the SPA are opened, located in the heart of the house, with a glass roof and closing the sides with a solar screen.

This SPA, covered in natural stone, has specific furniture, a charming champagne tree and lighting on the steps. A true invitation to well-being and seduction that permeates the entire home. Still in the same living room, the zenithal brings more natural light and warmth to the project, which also has as a distinguishing feature the large 3m-high glass panels.

The kitchen, divided into two parts, has a lighted island and a solarium with wide openings and a glass ceiling, which gives the impression of bringing the araucarias literally into the house. "We used grayish tones to enhance the kitchen with new colors, going a bit beyond the obvious. Above the work surface, we opted for an aluminum structure to place books and foliage", adds Charlene.

Going up via the elevator that integrates the three levels of the house, in the intimate area, the popcorn room and four suites were designed to offer maximum comfort and accessibility to residents. The master suite with wallpaper and natural veneer, includes a fireplace, TV camouflaged behind mirrors, as well as a large balcony with views of the sunrise. The bathtub and double shower guarantee comfort and intimacy for the couple. Everything designed to celebrate warmth, serenity and love.
